Flying in sandals.. Opinion?

On a serious note, as a flip flop flyer, a lot of it depends on where I'm going.

If I'm going on a local hop around the local area, there are no mountains, there are no snow covered fields, etc, etc..

I can comfortably walk pretty much anywhere around here barefooted, much less in sandals if they stayed with me in the off field landing.

That said, sure, there are some swampy areas around here, and it would be a pain to walk in that barefooted, I'll grant that.

If I were to go on a decent XC over terrain other than my local area, I'd review my footwear.

I don't fly the boss in around in shorts and flip flops, but I don't have any issues flying myself or family in such. I have no issues wearing flip flops to church. I have flip flops that cost just as much and more than some of my "nice shoes."

I wear flip flops when it's warm and boots when it isn't. LOL

Strange, I was thinking the same of you! Sorry, my friend, but you can't escape the backpack.
You're using my backpack as a way to save face on a thread about personal style. People know I have one for work as a freight pilot. I've posted plenty of times. Nobody cares.

You are not a style expert. No amount of massaging on this thread is going to make any one of us think you are. Get rid of the pleats.

Yep! Sounds like me. Flip flops for just about anything casual, but that's really common in SoCal.

@ATN_Pilot dresses like he's an extra in Family Ties.

Don't dispute it, I've seen it with my own eyes. Money can buy expensive stuff, but that doesn't make it classy or tasteful.

And yes, I know I dress in the most lazy way possible.

I really think you need a hug though.

Are you guys really trying to win a business attire argument with someone who has Jeffrey Lebowski as their profile pic? That's like trying to tell Bob Ross that people would respect his paintings more if he wore a blazer.
