Delta TA

No kidding. How a post with factual information turns into making a name for yourself is beyond me. Have you noticed when we post facts we get some sort of backlash about 'lecturing', 'making a name for yourself' or some wild conspiracy theory.

Or my personal favorite: "How much FPL have you received!!!!1!!!!!!111!1!!!"

Wow, intimidation tactics. And people want to complain about the MEC?
It's not intimidation, it's self-policing. If @Trip7 worked here and had the same attitude toward his colleagues, he'd have gotten a talking to, as well.

(Barring that, no landings until attitude improves!)

Not at all. What's unprofessional is the guy bringing his crappy attitude to the cockpit and affecting his coworkers.

This is the internet, not the cockpit. I doubt he's lecturing the captains he's flying with. But hey, if they bring it up first, then nothing wrong with him giving his opinion, too. And if it happens to differ with the other guy's, then childish nonsense like withholding landings is the kind of thing that would land you a carpet dance at most airlines.

And if it happens to differ with the other guy's...

Well, the guy with the attitude problem is always going to be the first to deny he has one. :)

Anyway, I'll leave it be. I'm not a Delta pilot. I just have very small patience for breaches of etiquette and decorum.

Dude, what? Are you in the IBT?
Ha, to be fair, we can't actually withhold a landing from someone, but I would be for it if Pro Stan didn't get through to the person. Last ditch effort before going to a Chief, perhaps. Oh well. Maybe if I was king for a day.

So a non Delta pilot attempting to 'attitude adjust' a Delta pilot in good standing in a Delta TA thread doesn't strike you as a breach of etiquette?

Perhaps it is. And in that case, I'll leave you guys to it.

I think taking a landing from someone because of their views on a contract is unprofessional. I may not agree with @Trip7, but I would never take a landing away from someone just because they disagree with me on contract stuff.
For opinion differences? No, I wouldn't either. :)
