That doesn't pay the bills though.
To the best of my knowledge VX doesn't have a "set" pay scale. Remember they do not have a union. They do get cost of living increases yearly from what I have heard. Maybe someone else can shed some light.Does anyone know Virgin America or Hawaiian Dispatcher Pay Scale?

A good buddy of mine was hired by VX recently and all I know on pay is that they started at $32 something an hour
Assuming 40hrs a week, you could live very comfortably on that pay.
You can live very comfortable on any given pay depending on lifestyle and circumstances. But this is SFO we are talking about, so I'd be cautious on the assumption of how comfortable you can live.

Ok I apologize, allow me to rephrase: I could live very comfortably in SFO at $32 an hour.
I agree. OT has a lot to do as to where you grew up as to say xxx amount is or isn't enough. A person living in Florida isn't going to have the same opinion as someone in NYS.You guys have gone way overboard with the cost of living comments for Virgin. They don't have any issues keeping Dispatchers. People obviously have no problems getting by on 65k for a year. If you know where to live, its not difficult at all to live comfortably on that amount.
