daily pic

My company sent me to Terranea for a corporate bonding experience. Beautiful place, but I spent a lot of time watching the planes turn toward Catalina.

That's sweet. I walked through the place a few weeks ago. I guess they have a music and beer thing Friday and Saturday nights; I need to check that out, but probably should rent a Ferrari first.

I had no clue it was that upscale now. It was nice when we were there but I think they were having trouble selling some of the villas. We took over the entire hotel part and I liked the pool over looking the ocean with the gas fires to keep you warm while you have a drink. I should have enjoyed it more!

DUDE! Awesome stuff! @SurferLucas did alright with that spot, I hang out with that one girl up there at his spots when I'm in town otherwise I'd have no idea where to go haha. Uh, not the "silent" one, the other one.

Anyway, worked 67.5 hours over the last 6 days. Here are a few pics from this week to remind me why I don't storm out of that place:

One day when statutes of limitations have expired i will do a mass dump of "I kid you not" pictures of broken stuff from my Alaska air taxi days.
My left hip is slightly bruised and my upper body is a little sore. I'm beginning to think I'm a little long in the tooth to be playing these games. That picture of the easy part was taken after the assembly was removed. Removing said assembly is a good primer for a newbie but important enough that you have to do it yourself. Sometimes jets are difficult. Not to mention deciding to take an airplane apart based on troubleshooting and spending a lot of money to get a part that might fix it adds its own stress. It works. Next?

Ahh.. nothing like hearing a mechanic shout holy crap and then telling you you're better off not knowing how close things were to a fiery death.
