1 paper = 4 coin.Token-operated.
Three tokens for $1 and it takes six tokens (purchasable at his office only) to do a load of laundry in ATN's HomeWoodStoneGate Estates, you know, "If you lived here you'd be home by now"![]()
OMG you should of seen the beef yesterday!
Was stuck in Winston Salem and got the corned beef at Finnigans Wake...
It still wasn't as beautiful as our beef, the beef we shared...together, that night.

There was one for Fedex years back, the Fedex guys call it the "50 club", when they hit 60 they have 50 months to live.Seeing this thread is odd. I was under the impression that studies had shown your average airline pilot dropped dead within 2-5 years of retiring?
Why do the work when you can blame it on poor people? #justAmericanthings@amorris311 is absolutely right. It's almost always an issue of screening. I take over properties on a regular basis with problem tenants from individual landlords who were trying to manage their properties themselves, and they did zero screening. Didn't even get social security numbers. And then they wonder why they have problems.

Going off memory, so careful of that, and twice today someone has made my point before I did so someone may have already answered your question a page ago.
Oh I plan to live to 80-100, see grandkids, try not to get lung cancer from all the weed I smoke when I retire (assuming it's all legal by that time66.49 years is the average age of when the typical SouthernJetter drops off the radar as per statistics.
It's not sad, it's a gift. It tells you that you'd better get busy living because if you try to backload all of your plans for retirement, after you get your water cannon salute, you're better off eating the cake, doing the photo op, changing in the terminal and heading straight to Jamaica to smoke huge bowls of weed and snort a mountain of cocaine off a strippers butt in Amsterdam.

You can do the same thing with an Engineer from Boeing. It's bizarre but Boeing Engineers and airline pilots seem to have the same life expectancy.I'd be curious to see a breakdown of career regional pilots vs pilots who fly long haul/intl.
Also, commuters vs non-commuters. An AME once told me he could tell who commuted by checking their blood pressure/pulse...
Stupid question maybe. If that number is correct for the Delta pilot why can't you all have your pension back? Fedex does and they have a close number.66.49 years is the average age of when the typical SouthernJetter drops off the radar as per statistics.

Perspective.Nah, sounds pretty sad to me.

Are you sure it's that low? I thought you guys did better than that.
This is why I am in no hurry to fly heavies or go do cargo again. I think a high seniority single aisle CA seat will be just fine in my future. But I'm sure it's also the fact that most guys at the legacies spend a lot of years flying crazy international schedules that just aren't good for you.
I would imagine studies for long hall flying would be exactly the same. Having to constantly rotate your sleep schedule around so you can have a life at home just does not sound very healthy at all.Someone's gotta help me out here. Fedex had a study that showed their pilots died before other guys because of the back side of the clock flying. ALPA fought to get the study results. It was a big deal a while back. Someone remmeber what I'm talking about I can't find a reference online.
Fedex wasn't that far off that 66 number if memory serves. Argghh. Why can't I remember stuff anymore? I used to remember all kinds of useless facts.Nope. I've got the spreadsheet right here on my computer with data up to 2012.
