AA requires an online listing if you want to jumpseat. Is there any airline that outright prohibits listing at the gate?
Myidtravel is a pile of garbage. It takes forever to do from anything but a computer with a full keyboard and screen. Most airlines will require online JS listing at some point in the future. Spirit, Frontier, American and JetBlue already have pretty good online listing tools.
Haha, I don't mind the website as much as I do remembering all the different passwords.Myidtravel is a pile of garbage. It takes forever to do from anything but a computer with a full keyboard and screen.
I don't imputing all the data....hell my phone autofills most of it in anyway, I just hate how tedious it is. Seems like listing for a flight requires you to navigate through like 5 or 6 pages. it seems to me it could be easily streamlined.Myidtravel is a pile of garbage. About a year or so ago an AA gate agent at home, which is an outstation, listed me at the gate. Several weeks before that I was having some technical issues with myIDtravel not letting me list for flights and I asked a gate agent in ORD if she could list me. She INSISTED that there wasn't even a way in the their system to list jumpseaters. Will American agents work with you if you show up at the gate at all? Say you don't get on your primary flight on us air for example and you dash over to american to try to get a ride.
PS just remembered you mentioned US Air. Who knows...is their RES system even integrated with AA yet?
And everyone but me has a smart phone. Lets get this done.
DE727UPS said:Somebody needs to come up with a website where pilots can list with any airline as a non-rev. Would save the airlines time, gate agents time, and make everything work much better. Being on hold with SWA is a pain. Gate agents are usually pretty good. I just feel bad for the Alaska gate agents as it's a 5 minute process, minimum, to list me as a non-rev. There is no way to do it in advance. This is 2015 people. And everyone but me has a smart phone. Lets get this done.
Does anyone know how to list for jumpseat on AA flights? Also, what is the myidtravel? Thanks in advance.
