LogTen Pro X

I know many don't share the same thoughts as me in the logbook issue. But it's sacred to me, and I want the best. There is nothing close to LTPX.

What about those of us who just paid for the subscription (albeit, at the "reduced" "early adopter" rate), and now see that it's free (for a whopping 8 more hours).....

I upgraded to the X version and am having issues with totaling. It seems to have dropped off all of my SEL and MEL totals. I submitted an email and haven't heard back in over a week. Very surprising that it is taking this long for a response.

Digging this back up.

So at the end of my last trip, I noticed that the software had randomly changed one specific airport to another specific one. I messaged customer service and the agent was willing to switch back all the airports so they were correct, but while doing so it jacked with the block times because of time zone switching. So I need to go back through the flights since I purchased the logbook.

Anyone have anything current that seems to work better than this software? I can't trust it now that it has changed things on its own.

Huh. I've been wondering if I was going to have to make the upgrade because the program starts falling apart. I haven't seen any problems like that, but I also have a lot of duplicate airports in the database. Like if I add a note to an airport, it'll create a duplicate with the note attached, but it hasn't created any problems.

I'm surprised they just didn't tell you to upgrade to X. I'm still pretty steamed about what they did and knock on wood 6 is still running good for me, even on the latest Mac OS X and iOS. I will never upgrade to X. I'll move all my data to MccPilot Log before that ever happens.

I'm not thrilled about it either. And they probably will. It's less incentive for me to upgrade if something working went terribly wrong.

MccPilot Log is a pile of poop on OS X.

Yeah ... we're basically screwed. I've considered writing competing software, but I just don't have the time. :|

Some guys at work have the APDL and swear by it. I may look more into that. I want a desktop versions to compliment the iOS.
