Its sad when even the government doesn't know the difference between "then" and "than".
Great. Do you know how hard it is to find one that is JUST the right height?Sorry guys! Sorry! I was trying to bring a pony through for @ChasenSFO. He needed it for something....
Buckets are easy to come by...Great. Do you know how hard it is to find one that is JUST the right height?
So what I'm getting from this is just continue to go through in uniform. If selected for random screening the toothpaste does not become a bomb just because you were selected. You should be able to go do the superman to get the exemptions... it's the same thing as showing up to the airport in uniform.
So if you have non compliant liquid then you can go back and "check your bag or superman it"View attachment 30295
They do contract themselves here in b and c, but the overlying fact is that if you're selected for random screening, leaving the checkpoint, changing into a uniform and then attempting to re-screen is IDIOTIC.
Common sense says at best you're carrying non-compliant liquids.
At worse, you may be carrying non-permissible items or something you know damned full well you shouldn't.
Aren't you consenting to be searched in the first place? One would think if it was like any other consent to search you can remove that consent at any time.So if a crewmember gets selected for regular passenger screening and decides instead to turn around and go home because waiting in line is turrible, is that still a violation of CFR 1540.105? How much time must pass before it is no longer a violation?
The argument TSA have traditionally made is that once you start your attempt to access the sterile area, you have to finish the process or face civil and criminal penalties.Aren't you consenting to be searched in the first place? One would think if it was like any other consent to search you can remove that consent at any time.
100 dollars that these are all f/as.
Who else would try to bring cats through security...100 dollars that these are all f/as.
You also consent to your car and house being searched if you decide to leave the line.Aren't you consenting to be searched in the first place? One would think if it was like any other consent to search you can remove that consent at any time.
I spent the money for TSA Pre-Check and it has been fantastic. I never non-rev in uniform and always leisure travel with trial liquids that are compliant. I will probably never go through KCM in plain clothes.
Burlington Vermont is also apparently a hotbed of false airline crew ID. They are a "remove it from the sleeve" station.
I'd almost take that bet, but if you reference the previous thread when they loosened the uniform requirement rule, there were some people that I suspected would attempt to "Superman" and return to the KCM checkpoint.
I don't want to see anyone Superman'n dat TSA.When I read "Superman" all I can think about is that song...
