Delta/Endeavor SSP Extended to All Pilots

The -88 guy from JAX, has the pony tail and wears the wig to work, is he weird in any other way?

latest

"I don't know... he seemed alright to me."

There's an infamous Captain at Delta known as "the Gold Guy"
I flew with one of the gold bug guys. Was telling me when SHTF I would be set. I asked him where I picked up my gold. He looked at me all funny. I told him, if it all blows up, what good is a piece of paper saying I own gold. I need the physical thing. When society falls, won't the stock markets all be gone? He had no answer to that. You could tell he never even considered that possibility.

Told him, no thanks. I'll keep investing in ammunition, that way I can take everything he owns and whatever else I want.

Sometimes you just have to say "Dude, I need you to stop talking now. I'm going to look out my window at the pretty fluffy clouds for the next 4 hours to LA, and if you need anything, I'm right here", meanwhile, you are trying to figure out how to tell Derg "dude, you were so f'in right about taking the upgrade".

It is so delicious going to work and ultimately not have to worry about if your captain is going to be overbearing and quirky.

But one thing I have learned in the last six months is "they're all not in the left seat".

So in Oct, 2015, you should admit that, when you chewed out my husband in LAS in 2012 for advising you to upgrade and informing you of the benefits, it was not your best moment. :)

I chewed out someone? Oh man, is there video? Ha! I'm such a creampuff.

Well, it was after you had quite a few! :) You told us that international flying was so much more important and you didn't want to fly domestic! We're glad you saw the light!

Seriously doubt if I said it was more 'important'. More rewarding on an FO to FO level, abso-freaking-lutely.

Any international FO gig > domestic FO gig.

Any captain gig > any FO gig, international or domestic.

(Corrected, thanks @Kingairer!)

Any Captain gig? I'm not so sure.

Would you take mD88 or 717 captain position over heavy FO if there was a displacement tommorrow??

Absolutely.

But if they displaced me out of the 320, I'd "voluntary" displace into the NYC 7ER captain seat if they weren't also displacing as well. Boom shacka-lacka.

No. No, man. Shizzle, no, man. I believe you'd get your ass kicked sayin' something like that, man! #OfficeSpace

Heh. That flick was just on last night. Time-less.

Best thing I ever learned...."Well, you don't need a million dollars to do nuthin. Look at my cousin....he's broke and don't do s@#"
