Holy crap, you flew with that guy too? I flew with a Captain who told me, straight faced on our first leg that I would be the last FO he flew with. He had bought like $2000 worth of Iraqi dinars and they were supposed to be valued the next week at 500 times the value. He was certain he was going to walk away with a $10 million dollar profit. Went on to be one of the worst Captains and worst trips I had ever had.
My Alpaca farm is about to unleash MEEEEEEEEEEEELLIONS of dollars shortly.

Probably not long, especially if you do it on a junior bird, like the -88 or the 320.
Good base, good people, nice enough town, albeit WAY more expensive than you would think. Lived there for 5 years in the 'burbs south of the river. Hard to beat 15 minutes to the parking lot and/or 10 minutes to NATCO.
That said, as a single guy, if I had it to do over again, I'd live in downtown St.Paul and get in on some of the relative grooviness that location offers over Burnsville.
More so than any other place I've lived, you REALLY need to be married with kids to get anything out of the MSP suburbs. Otherwise it's a long, cold, dark winter.
