Delta Capt locked out of cockpit

So you gotta change tactics. If your wife is on the no-read-meat thing, is it because of fat or cholesterol? Either way, I've got you covered.

Bison. It's lower in fat AND cholesterol than beef, it's extremely tasty, and it satisfies the red meat craving while being considerably healthier. Yes, it's more expensive. And if she still gives you pushback, point out that red meats coupled with your exercise regimen generally improve your stamina and testosterone levels which overall make you a better husband.

You're still gonna have to swallow your share of poultry - and that's not a bad thing - curry livens up any bird. But at least this way you're playing the health card for good reason and selling the benefits for both of you. Dig?

:)
Unless they decide to open up a hunting season on Catalina Island, where the hell am I going to find bison? I like the taste of it fine, but I haven't seen it for sale anywheres around here. Maybe I need to explore that. This would be a great solution though.

We and normally eat a lot of fish, chicken, shellfish and boneless pork chops or roast pork. But because my wife is not really a big beef eater (and I have mostly been a moderate one), the turkey thing has just gotten out of control. Turkey is okay but I am not really that crazy about it and would rather have chicken. I already work out and eat a ton of healthy stuff and am in decent shape and not overweight, so it's overkill to me. I gotta have some quality beef sometimes. Hell, I only get a decent hamburger here and there and that's a rarity anymore. My sister is making a meatloaf tonight, but it's very lean ground chuck and the meatloaf has shredded carrots and chopped up onion and bell peppers in it and we always have at least two more side dishes of veggies and that 200 grain or whatever the hell they are rolls, no gravy and a big salad so it seems healthy to me. Hell, I rarely even have bacon or ham, but when I do a few times a year, I am not going to eat any damn turkey bacon. lol She already made me try some kinda soy bacon once and I spit it out. It was like something you'd use to repair a bicycle tire with. I have to have a good pot roast once a month and the left overs for sammies. But a great steak is wonderful. I crave them from time to time and find myself eating them more on overnights. I need to distract her off this turkey thing before I just start feeding it to the dogs.

Trader Joes and Whole Foods both carry it here, as well as Harris-Teeter but I don't know if you have those.

Check your farmer's markets or actual butchers.

We have Trader Joe's and Whole Foods right near us, I just rarely shop at them, but Sue does. Thanks, going to go look next week then. Hot damn.

They're more likely to have it ground than in steaks. But you can get steaks at decent meat markets. When I lived in AUS, the Saturday market had a supplier who carried them so you might wanna find them that way. Ask around. Call a butcher.

"How much are you paying me and how long is this going to take?" would be the appropiate response to that question.

Not hired.

When I go full "Capo", I expect immediate action and not whiny millennial-esque passive-aggressive negotiations.

There's a fine line between a Marvel-esque super villain and a captain of industry! :)

Someone told my father that I was either going to be very successful or head a major international drug cartel.
or, behind door 3 we have.....JAFAP

Up here Carrs(Safeway) and Fred Meyer's(Kroger) both carry it ground. Might want to check your SoCal version of those stores.

One of four kids has celiac. He gets GF, the other don't. Some people just can't wrap their tiny minds around that when they hear we aren't all GF.
@Cptnchia
I heard about this blog written by a kid who is gluten intolerant. https://theglutenfreekid.wordpress.com/ He's a cool little boy and only eight years old! He does restaurant reviews, has recipes and snack ideas. He even does taste tests on different gluten free products and gives his opinion. Your kid and wife might really enjoy reading it.
