Delta Capt locked out of cockpit

I think it's gotta be really awkward to be the captain "well...I guess I'll just grab a seat. Wait, the flight is full?"

Where would he sit in that situation? Serious question. Take a seat on the fold down seats with the flight attendants? There's gotta be a procedure for this, right?

*shrug*

I've actually been kicking that around for the past couple days...I haven't really come up with an answer yet. Standing up obviously isn't a good idea. On my own airplane I'd probably park myself in the galley with a hand on both side. Really the only option.

From the cockpit voice recorder...

CA: Hey, it's me. I'm ready to come back in.
FO: I can't!
CA: What to you you mean, "I can't?"
FO: Door's stuck sir!
CA: Stuck!? Surely you can't be serious!
FO: I am serious! And don't call me Shirley!

"There's a problem with the door!"

"The door? What is it?"

"It's a hinged, revolving, or sliding barrier. But that's not important right now."

Even in he just ended up standing somewhere would it really matter? Cats out of the bag at that point.

Wouldn't he just take the FA seat of the FA stuck in the cockpit?
