Delta Capt locked out of cockpit

I think about a lot of stuff in cruise, none of which involves drama, working harder or filling out paperwork.

Where to get a good cheeseburger on the overnight, however, is a different matter. ;-)
Someone told me Habit Burger is good, not as good as In'n'Out. @A Life Aloft disappointed me me with his post about a sad burger that was doomed from the order by his own choices haunts me. Never go to In'n'Out for the first time without a guide. I've tried the what5burgerguys a few times, perhaps if someone had given me some direction when ordering I would have had a better expierence.

Hell, the burgers are better even at Fantastic Burgers by Boeing at LGB. lol They are on Wardlow and Cherry.

When I think of In and Out my colon starts to contract. :p But if you want something even worse
than a contracting colon, you could try one of my wife's veggie tofu burgers. The dogs leave the kitchen and hide when she starts making them. But then so do I.

Habit is actually the best of all of them, I think. In-n-Out is quintessentially Californian, but The Habit is my "home" burger chain and as such, it's comfort food.

Take a flight with a lot of Puerto Ricans on board. They all clap. It might be a Latin America thing, but it's hilarious in PR.

Haha I noticed that a few weeks ago on my way to Puerto Rico, at first I just assumed a few people clapped and other joined in for peer pressure reasoning, but when it happened again on the way from SJU to JFK I realized it was essentially only Puerto Ricans doing this. Kinda makes you wonder are they used to almost dying every time they land from the past or something? I mean no issue in them clapping, but a safe landing is the norm 99.9999999% of the time.

Those are very strong words. I would think that we wouldn't start this argument again. My wife called me on her way home from work to ask if she should grab something for dinner, I wanted to ask for Tommies but I don't want her her to have to go into Tujunga. Panda Express is just fine. Dogs won't leave me alone since the clouds started rubbing against each other.

Actually, to be quite honest, we are.

There are some "grave" scenarios in the simulator where the situation "splits" the cockpit. One person is deep in an ECAM procedure and the other person is hustling to get the plane on the ground, self-configuring, flying, running the radio and heading for the longest piece of concrete.

We're not "specifically" trained, but have been in simulator scenarios where you're technically on your own.

So, uhhh. Yes! :)

We do some scenarios where all of the sudden, the guy next to you is completely unresponsive. It's really not that hard. Especially with Otto working right. And we actually have to move the power levers. Imagine that.

Edit to add: Imagine the horror if the news actually found out that the "co-pilot" did about half of the landings, and most of the good ones, were his!

Mine still are hit and miss. I'm still trying to get the "start the flare at 50 feet" widebody picture out of my head but's hard after darned near a decade.

What. The. Hell!
Trust me, I finally refused to eat them last year and the oldest grandkids followed suit. It's really hard to discern what is worse about them besides the taste....the texture, the smell or the colors of them which look like something a coyote may have yacked up in the desert somewheres. She can't figure out why no one likes them either.

That is a crime against humanity. My wife needed turkey bacon for a recipie. I stood in a different aisle as she picked it out.

Oh please, I already have to suffer through turkey sausages, turkey burgers (which are at least edible- sort of), turkey chili, turkey tostadas and turkey meatloaf, (I have to make my own beef meatloaf or my sister will with actual ground chuck when I want one). They have turkey bacon now? Oh Lord. She wants to make turkey tacos sometime, I am just like oh lets not go there. I am not eating a damn turkey taco. I am just surprised she hasn't come up with a turkey soup yet.

Capt being locked out wouldn't have even been newsworthy in one of these.

You need to stage a revolt. Bring home a 20 oz ribeye, cook it medium, and have her share in devouring it......marbling and all.
