USA Jet Airlines...

USA Jet flew quite a bit more than we did, I would assume they would be around 50-60 hours a month. We would average 20-30 hours a month.

Lol what's up with MMHO? Gotta ask
Long delays, smells like organic fertilizer, roaches crawling all over the ramp at night (which is when freight dawgs are there), more delays, horrid restrooms, nothing remotely close to a pilot lounge...

Looks like they want to play in IFL and Kalitta's sandbox.... IIRC Sierra West is trying to get in on the 727 action too...

Thats the word...
Average hours are 20-30 a month, you will never see more than 40 hours unless you sell your days (soul)

How do u do that? Are trips posted for bid like regionals so u bid to fly on days off?

What are the duty on time? Is it like regionala where u start reserve at 4am on day 1 so u cannot commute in?

Hey USAJET folks. Few questions... I'm almost a 4th year XJT FO commuting for life. I own a condo by the VanBuren water tower (like 1/10 mile from active aero). My roommate is a flight follower there and is telling me not to do it. But I'm seriously considering applying. If u could ride your bike to work would you do it? Average days off a month? Treated well? QOL? first year salary after per diem? Possible to go right into the 9? Fun crews?

Thanks y'all!

Can you ride your bike in the snow/rain/summer humidity during the dark of night in uniform with your overnight and flight bag? And make the required response call out time?
I live in Van Buren Twp and fly for a competitor, so can't answer some of your other questions, but the bike is a giant no. And even if it's day VFR when you're called, who knows what it will be when you return.
