The problem is that webpages like STW had everybody convinced they were starting some kind of Regional Revolution that would bring management to their knees. It was naive from the get go and painful to watch.
The only difference between now and last year is that Envoy pilots have woken up and realized you don't win in this industry by dismantling your own airline. STW is a fairy tale group akin to a bunch of friends playing Dungeons and Dragons in their parent's basement on a Friday night. Noodle on this: Envoy pilots were told over and over by Republic, ExpressJet, and Compass pilots that to vote NO because "we stand behind you" and all that other nonsense. I bet you can guess what happened: Envoy's flying and/or aircraft then gets shifted to-drum roll-Republic, ExpressJet, and Compass. Not to mention Mesa, PSA, Piedmont...am I forgetting anybody else Envoy's flying has been piece mealed out to?
