Perhaps it's a charter, there are a lot of people/bands/groups/corporations that you'd expect to have their own aircraft but for whatever reason they choose to charter instead. And then there are those that shouldn't own an airplane at all for any number of reasons.
Used to be a company down here at KTUS that ran Vickers Viscount planes for charters, and had steady customers like Rod Stewart, and a few other big names. In 1985, one of their Viscounts carrying singer Lionel Richie and company had a main gear collapse on landing at KTUS. The only onboard injuries (minor) found by responding CFR personnel were from a few ladies who had been out of their seats, unbelted, and in a compromising position at the time of the collapse.
