Min days off at a Legacy/Major

Just wondering what kind of min days off you guys have, if you have anything like that written in your CBAs? This request would include foreign carriers like Copa, Emirates, and Cathay Pacific...

My previous employer (regional) had 12 for line holders and 11 RSVs. My current has 11 and 10.

Not that I have numerous Legacies banging on my door or anything... But this is very important to me for my career choices.

Thanks!

Not exactly included in Legacy, but "Major ACMI" Atlas is 13 off for 30 day months. 14 off for 31 day months. Get hosed in February. Contractual 5 days off between trips, unless you do a 17 day trip (get 7 off in that case).

At Spirit: 13 days for a line; 12 days for reserve 30 day months and 13 days for 31 day months; 15 days for a relief line. To the max extent possible blocks of 5 consecutive days off in domicile with no less than 4 consecutive days off in domicile.

yeah. lineholders average 18 days off if I'm not mistaken. With 90+ hours credit. not too shabby.

That's about right. Lines range from 15-20 days off, but it is TFPs, not hours of credit. You have to adjust that to get at the correct hourly conversion rate. TFP = "trips for pay," which is basically an odd SWA segment pay calculation from eons ago that they've never changed. To get the right hourly rate, you have to divide the TFPs by about 1.15. I'm looking at a bid packet right now with an average TFPs of about 90, so that would be about 78.25 hours of credit.

Nobody actually flies their lines, though. Schedule adjustment is rampant. They really need PBS but are too stubborn to consider it.

RAH was 12 and 11 respectively, but when I was first hired the Airways (for CHQ) flying allowed for 85-90 hr lines with even 14-15 off sometimes. Then it went away, and by the time Part 117 came around we were down to 12-13 off and 75-78 credit... No trip or duty rigs either. Ugh.

Thanks for the responses! What's Southern Jets, United, and AA?

Here's everything in the ALPA database for mainline carriers, current as of February:

Alaska:
Lineholders - four 48 hour periods
Reserves - two 48 hour periods, one 72 hour period, and one 120 hour period

American:
Lineholders - 10 days
Reserves - 12 days

Delta:
Lineholders - 12 in 30 days, 13 in 31 days
Reserves - 12/13 for reserve guarantee between 75-80, and 13/14 for reserve guarantee between 72-75

Frontier:
Lineholders - 12 days
Reserves - 12 days

Hawaiian:
Lineholders - 12/13 days
Reserves - 12 days

JetBlue:
Lineholders - 12 days
Reserves - FAA regulations

Southwest:
Lineholders - 15/16
Reserves - 14/15

Spirit:
Lineholders - 13 days
Reserves - 12/13 days

Sun Country:
Lineholders - 12 days
Reserves - 10/11 days

United:
Lineholders - 12 days
Reserves - 12/13 days

25 years gets you 18 or 19 days off at my airline. 14 or 15 days off is probably the average for line holders.
