We have a need for Part 135 captains in ABQ for PA31 and BE99 aircraft. We are also looking for higher time pilots to fly Fairchild Metro III aircraft in our Cincinnati base.

Applicants should be ready to tackle challenging single-pilot, hard IFR flights utilizing steam gauge aircraft.

For pilots currently qualified under 135.243(c) that have PIC type rating in an airplane that Ameriflight currently operates, we offer a $1,000 “signing bonus” ($500 upon successful completion of PIC IFR check ride and $500 6 months after that event).

Yes, recruiting specifically.

Less than $2500/month pay for pilots that are close to atp mins??? With a training contract, horrible schedule, some sort of flow scam after a few years of service, and old airplanes...gee where do I sign up???

First off I agree completely. Secondly I've been lurking around for a long time and seen an interesting and mind bottling dynamic on this site about pilot pay when it comes to 135 freight and the regionals vs 135 charter and 91 ops.
Each part of the aviation industry has different dynamics when working out pay. AMF is still on the low end for cargo but it is better.

Overall stay away from CVG. Other bases aren't too bad but CVG has the worst schedules. 6-7 day work weeks were the norm while I was there. Also we worked the worst hours since it is hub based. No extra pay for the crazy hours or the radioactive flights they do. (Both actually reduce lifespans BTW)

Schedules are based on what the ACP wants . Seniority means nothing. The schedule overall is rotational but really sucks having to constantly sit airport reserve overnight.

The current CP for the company seems to be making some big strides in improving the safety culture. I believe the Director of Safety that gave me step by step instructions on how to fly a BE99 without autofeather is now gone.
