It did draw quite a big crowd. The rw used parallels a few parking lots that make for good viewing on the early roll. People were on the top floor of the Terminal 2 ramp, as well as a big crowd at the dog park that sits under the departure end of that runway....Last time it was here I had ben driving by the filed and noticed something out of the ordinary so we stopped for some pics. This time the crowds were bigger as for some odd reason this was all over the local news like it had never been here before. The last time a plane here got that coverage was when someone from Dubai or the Saudi Royal family brought their personal 747 for a trip to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. They stop in Minny and then hop a G-something to Rochester....

That's cool. Makes me feel good to know that people can still be amazed by stuff.

This fuel stopped in KTN the other day. It had a military call sign, crewed by Air Force crew and a load of long hair and bearded "civilian" passengers.

Saw some of those guys on the ramp at Nellis 2 weeks ago when I got to ride thru the base on the EDC shuttle. Sketchy airplane is sketchy.

Looks like they flew right over my grandma's house in Richfield using that runway, too. That would have been a sight to see...
