Heck last time I reported a laser they had me on the phone with the local law enforcement guys filling out a 5 page questionnaire.
It happens nightly in MIA. I have a good idea of the neighborhood it's happening in. I plan on getting in my car and driving through that neighborhood at night during one of my days off.
Shoot back?When I used to fly blimps, MIA was the worst area for getting lased. Plus, in a blimp you're an easy target....and can't get away very quickly.

Are there any practical devices that can be worn to degrade the affect of lasers without otherwise impairing the pilot's vision?

Yeah, I couldn't take it anymore and resigned about two years ago. Didn't have a job at the time but I knew unemployment was better than working for those guys. Found a great job and am much, much happier.New gig? You out of FL entirely now?
