Also factor in a crumbled economy and rising fuel costs at the time...pretty much why SkyBus failed.

We've training the consumer that anything other than a "legacy" is going to have cheaper (not, less expensive albeit) fares. Which has brings most new entrants to an early demise.
 
Reservations open up tomorrow. They are expecting the most profitable routes to be EWR and BOS. So now we sit back and watch.. :stir:
 
No matter if they sell 5 or 5000 tickets the first day, expect managers to come out and say "response to our new low fares has been overwhelming, and were very excited" etc etc. while quietly they are canceling service to certain cities. Etc.... No one will truly know what's happening until after the fact.

From a conversation I had with a Vision guy coming out of GPT a while back my takeaway was, they give some sort of yearly COLA/Longevity raises, but they aren't standardized per year and in fact may vary per person. Despite having a traditional seniority list, it is run more like a corporate office where each person commands their own rates of pay, based on some sort of standardized HR/finance plan.
