Endeavor Flow for new hires

One question comes to mind after reading the EtD document:

If a competitively-qualified person has previously put in a stand-alone app to Delta…but has not interviewed Delta yet…and then gets hired by Endeavor under this EtD program, does he forfeit his ability to continue pursuing an interview/employment with Delta as an independent candidate outside (and in addition to) the EtD program ?

Will Delta consider this person "untouchable" outside the EtD umbrella...and because of it ?

I see the document addresses the case of a person who HAS previously been interviewed by Delta and then seeks employment with Endeavor. But what I'm asking about is a different situation and I don't think I see it addressed. Do any of you ?

Exactly.

As a spectator, I can only guess at someone else's motivation and choices. Maybe a bird in hand is more valuable to some than the two in the bush ?

My question really centers on the nuts & bolts of this particular offer rather than why someone takes it. Fun to watch the experiment though, no ?

[the two people I've talked to who might be candidates are NOT going to even apply to Endeavor. Statistically insignificant, admittedly]

Back on the EtD annoucement and a quick flow to Delta the recruiters will try to sell, I feel this would be an appropriate theme song for new hires:



On a personal note, this song brings back a lot of good memories from my childhood. :)

How do you stay landing current? Sim? I thought I was bad working four to five days a month....back when I did short call.
 
Dang. No matter how good you are there is always someone better. My hat is off to you sir....ummm....can't find my hat but it's the thought that counts.
 
So 8 candidates went to ATL for their interview today. 8 candidates for the EtD program. How many got the nod? It's a number less than 1, more than -1. It's a whole number.

Oh I'm part of the Delta hiring board.

Ive been the one sabotaging (sp?) the SSP all this time. When BW said they were going to fix the SSP for us back in april that meant getting me off the SSP board at Delta. I thought I should be consistent with my decision making so I axed the EtD guys. I noticed you Endeavor guys got a 66% approval on the last group and if the one year guys come back and get it youll be at 90%. I tell you what, that never would have happened if I was there. You see what I do to these next EtD guys, I'll send them home in pieces for this.
