Swa to hire 9

Everyone just needs to take a step back and quit foaming at the mouth. The pay and interview process has been discussed many times. Instead of asking the same questions over and over, take 3 minutes to read the thread and see if your question has been answered. As far as how much experience to be considered... did you match the requirements on the job posting? If yes, then you will certainly be considered. You are not even required to have a dispatch license for this position. That should answer your question.

ALC, just parsing his response for clarification. He meant that "The pay and interview process has been discussed many times" for review.

Then answered your question separately in the paragraph.

The pay question has been asked multiple times, having been asked most recently on page 3. He didn't issue a response again since that question was asked. I believe this was his intent for reference on reviewing the thread.

Not to be Mr. Nitpick. In that frame of mind - deconstructing ASAP reports for the FAA to review tomorrow. "It depends on what your definition of the word "is" is." Imma throw that at `em for fun.

Within SWA OCC, what positions other than dispatching, can a limited experienced certified dispatcher obtain that's worth making a career out of? Just curious...

They have sent out rejection emails as I know someone that has received one. I have yet to hear of anyone get an invite to test.

This has probably already been mentioned, but you usually have a phone interview with HR prior to getting the invite to come for filling out the application and test. At least that's how it was in my case.

Last year there was no phone interview... it was an email that said this is the pay blah blah blah are you still interested? yes or no. Then, some weeks later you got a phone call to set up a testing date.

I'm thinking they are still reviewing resumes of qualified applicants. HR probably rejected the ones that didn't meet the basic qualifications last week, hence the rejection emails.

Now, they're going through the remainders to determine who gets to move on.
