I saw a crew news and Parker said expect to see big growth out of ORD.
I'm talking clt airport as part of usairways. It's by far the largest operation , both express and mainline. MEM, CVG, CLE we're never the largest parts of the respective other carriers. They were all primarily RJ hubs for the past decade. I won't be buying in clt right now, not because I think it'll close, but because I think it could shrink enough to where its so senior that the benefit of living in base is limited. No one really knows the future.Folks have said the same thing about MEM, CVG, and CLE.......
You hold all nighters that quickly???If you're talking about the little bus, 1yr4mos for me.
It's a crappy secondary that I didn't even bid for with all red eye's.You hold all nighters that quickly???
Gotcha I'll take a look at the secondaries there. I don't think I'll bid off the 190 til I can hold all nighters. It's a crappy secondary that I didn't even bid for with all red eye's.

Am I reading that right?
You want redeye flying?
They don't go really junior?
Redeyes and All Nighters are two completely different things here.
Redeyes are normally 3-day west coast trips, 1 leg out and 1 leg back with around a 24-hour layover somewhere.
Our All Nighters are officially called On Duty All Night trips. You guys may know them as stand-ups, high-speeds, naps, etc. They're fairly senior here, especially in CLT.
Do y'all have a min day for those Redeyes? Also, do you have other red eye flying in three or four day trips?
No, the East contract does not have min day for redeyes, which is why we have a ton of them for the summer.
Our contract is written such that redeyes are to be pure trips only. They cannot be part of any other pairing. That's not to say that we don't have some redeyes that do PHL-LAX-PHX, then one leg back to PHL or PHL-PHX, then PHX-BWI, deadhead to PHL. However, you don't do a normal 3 or 4 day trip that ends with a redeye.
And before you say it, I know, I know, United is superior in every way.
Redeye flying is going to pay more when the mou is fully implemented?
I would hope so, since the West gets 15 hours for one...hence the enormous number of redeyes added to the summer schedule.
Do you know what wording is for that????I've only seen "average daily credit" and I don't know what that means. I assume 5 hours the first day and 5 hours the last day equals 13:20 ???

Ahhhhhhh, I was just asking as we have a lot mixed into our four day trips.
We have some like that. We also have some where the red-eye is in the middle of the trip and then some where the red-eye is the last leg home.
