Malaysia Airlines 777 missing

This guy can find it.

Which means nothing. I had mine on, by accident, and I'm sure there's a record of it trying to acquire a cell over Greenland too.

Don't think anyone is saying it means something more than course and may say something about altitude.

I think it's funny it took 5 weeks for this info to come out. They found OJ using his cell phone signal in two hours.

To me anything coming from any Malaysian source - government, military or industry - isn't to be trusted. That includes anything from the CVR or FDR unless western investigators got to them first, and can corroborate.

Malaysia was never high on my travel destination list, but right now it's below North Korea, Syria and Crimea.

What major news outlet isn't covering it?

CNN is the only one really covering it. The others have put it on the back burner unless there is actually something significant worth reporting. I say lay off the story completely until wreckage or a black box are found.

Ok, this is getting outright weird. Maybe it'll be the plot of a new movie: "Dude, where's my plane?". Too soon?

Four ELT's?

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
  • NEW: Plane said to have deviated from flight plan while inside Vietnamese airspace
  • NEW: The jet was equipped with four emergency locator transmitters, source says
  • Bluefin-21 covered 42 square miles in four trips
  • Analysis of an oil sample shows that it is not aircraft engine oil

There is the main ELT and I believe two 121.5 ELTs in the compartments with the life rafts, which must be carried off of the aircraft and activated by hand. Not sure about the 4th.

I dont even care about this investigation anymore. Ive heard and seen enough to know Id rather read fake stories on The Onion.

Im sorry to bring this beast of a thread back from the dead but apparently a group of master geo scientist or something like that claims they have found what they believe to be 370. Of course everyone already neck deep in the investigation is discrediting the lead saying "Well its impossible because its not within the arc we have been looking in" I say, if anyone has the knowledge to help, it might be these folks.

These folks say it is in the Bay of Bangal. Again, my appology for posting to this again and including a CNN link -----runs away

It's either a 777, or a sunken Russian sub from god knows when.

It's not like the Russians ran around telling everyone when they lost a ship during the cold war.

What they're looking at with these GeoResonance guys.

Plane just so perfectly in place, nothing broken off, all intact.... hmmmm

At this point, anything is worth a look. These nerds really seem to know what they are talking about and have been frantically trying to get the Aussies to look at their stuff. I say just send a dingy up there with a mic and maybe a coconut radio and see whats up.
