I just thought it was funny. Cause I was viewing this thread then I backed out to main page. Then bam I see pilot uniforms and crocs being advertised.

That's what I currently wear, and I love them. They give you another inch in height so you can look down easier on other regional pilots.

I used to wear ropers but one day I looked down and thought the toe looked girly.

Both pairs of Ariats that I've owned have been metal detector friendly.

I remember when Converse Chuck Taylors were less than $20 and considered disposable. Then the "hip" people started wearing them. Now they're $60 and still don't offer much support.

On the shoe thing, I sport the Doc Martens (thanks Doug!). Super comfortable, durable and I don't have to take 'em off going through security.

Also, I'm 99.9999999% sure that the Pinnacle FOM hasn't changed on the shoes since March 6th of 2006. I can't say before that or after Nov 1st of 2012, but the wording cencal posted looks pretty much the same.

Docs are AMAZING uniform shoes.
