Malaysia Airlines 777 missing

One other thing... I read or heard on the news that the plane went through routine maintenance two weeks ago. I would like to see what they did and who they work for.
You'd personally like to see the records? As if you would even be able to decipher them let alone understand what they mean. lol Boeing and the NTSB have all of those records by the way. I think they are in a better capacity to examine them than you are.

Paul Weeks who has disappeared with the Malaysia Flight is a Mechanical Engineer... he gave his wife a wedding ring & watch before boarding as if he knew something was wrong....

Another passenger on the plane was called Robert Lawton. I have found a Obituary for the death of a different Robert Lawton back in Feb 2013....One of his jobs, he worked as a joint mechanic on BOEING 777 planes....

Brent, if you have a conclusion to draw or make, then do so. Posting information with no correlation to anything, is akin to posting "the Captain ate a burrito, 2 days prior to the flight".

If you have a conclusion, then state it.

Can you spell SHILL?

Can't we apply Archimedes principle and ignore density. Damn I'm getting old. Did I forget or did I never know this stuff. Do they still make those big engineering handbooks that have every calculation you could think of?

At .25 ATM, I don't think we are compressing much, but it grows quickly as you descend.

I deleted my post to give it some more thought, probably too lazy to do the math.

I'm also too lazy to do the math at the moment, but I would think that in a pressure vessel like a commercial airplane cabin, some water could enter via the outflow valve but it probably wouldn't compress the air THAT much. Otherwise, things like diving bells wouldn't work.

I don't understand CNN. They are making a big deal out of the captain having a sim at home. They are "speculating" that he used it to "practice" this super secret route that they flew to elude radar.

The man is a professional pilot. All he has to do is load a flight plan and fly it. Why would he need to "practice" the route?

...another case of CNN making something out of nothing.

Yup! They suck. Im probably in the minority but I think the plane went down near where it originally vanished.

There are no new facts, nothing more discovered or at least released and in lieu of that, the media is just repeating/regurgitating everything they have already stated dozens of times for days and continually coming up with new so called theories, repeating the same theories, instead of shutting the hell up and waiting like the rest of the world. I just related to someone how I am not watching/have not been watching any of it for more than a few minutes a day and last night at a friend's home for dinner, they turned on the news to see if anything new had come to light and there was the now 4th former co-worker I have seen giving his views. Gad zooks, they are dragging out every old retired pilot they can find to say something/ anything. One of them two days ago, was a contemporary/co-worker of my Dad. lol

I'll give $100 to the first person who can prove to me that a fully-loaded modern airliner can float after ditching. Abstract theories don't count.

Let's move along.

Evidence.

I deal in evidence.

Present some that draws to this conclusion, with specific support.

Otherwise, proceed to the Lav.
My father is a retired Boeing VP. Yeah, I'm a bit offended. I'm sure there are some former or current Boeing guys on JC that would take issue with somebody throwing out a grapefruit like that.

Even conspiracy nuts take the time to present evidence, however silly it might be.
