I did some extensive searching on here and couldn't find this but apologize in advance if this is a repost.

Came across these quite by accident - High quality with actual CVR audio:

Tapatalk crashed and only posted half of what I wrote.

There is some interesting stuff on there.

Also of note is Comair 3272 (EMB-120 Ice near Detroit in 1997). This one is pretty graphic.

The CVR audio surprised me. I thought that never went out even for trials.

Again, I apologize in advance if this is old news and ask the admins to remove this accordingly if so.

How did the audio get released? I was also under the impression that it was never made public.
Yeah, I also thought after the late 80s/early 90s only transcripts were produced.

I've heard the CVR for 5191 went on for a few minutes after and you could hear people screaming in the cabin, is that true?

That stuff is tough to watch. The few times I've actually heard a CVR it's been chilling. Sure makes me hope I never made a huge mistake like that. You know, not catch all those little things that add up to the big one. Wow.

Wow, V1 and rotate callout right at the end of the runway. I wonder if it would've helped if there were another few hundred feet.

Scary.

It really surprised me as I am not aware of one getting out since Delta 1141 (the whole flight attendant conversation thing). I was actually watching with the volume down and then turned it up thinking the ATC audio might be included and my jaw about hit the floor.

Wow. The last time I heard actual CVRs was on the old Air Disasters site from a long ass time ago... Like close to 15 years ago. I fly the CRJ (200 and 700), and I have no idea what that crazy wharbling sound at the end is. Anybody know? Almost sounds like an ELT...

It really is emotional to watch this kind of stuff. I'll admit it, I was once part of a crew (part 91) that took off from the wrong runway, at night, at an unfamiliar airport. The operation had VERY poor CRM (I was definitely considered a right seat gear bitch by that captain), and basically non-existent procedures for capturing a mistake like this. As soon as I realized what we'd done, it scared the crap out of me and I immediately thought of 5191. We were extremely lucky, we got away with our mistake.

I delivered Cessna 210 to aircraft salvage company in Georgia shortly after this accident and the hangar they parked me at contained the wreckage of this airplane. It was an unpleasant thing to see. CVRs from fatal accidents are always sickening to hear.

Anybody elses heart rate jump about 20 BPM while watching those? Scary stuff, and to think the placed all of the blame on the crew. If the animation is accurate I would imagine that could've happened to a lot of people.

Yeah. Any more my attitude is that anything can happen to anybody. God knows I've come close to making mistakes that I kicked myself for and thought I'd never make.

The cockpit view was very informative. Seeing the taxiway that they were supposed to take to runway 22, and hearing the controller communicating with an Eagleflight in the background gives a more complete picture of what happened.
