Thats gonna be interesting. Shouldnt be a problem if they leave just enough fuel to get them to the original destination.

Be no problem at all. When the Dreamlifter was here at MZJ with it's 6800' runway, it regularly flew in and of here, albeit empty of cargo.

Let's just say that my aviation experience is sufficient that I no longer fill out a logbook. My last entry was over 10 years ago and that was around 12,000 hrs. And yes, I'm flying about 400 hrs a year at the same major, so I guess I have around 16,000 + hours now.

Somehow, I dont believe you, but oh well, Im entitled to my opinion just as you are with yours.

Would it have been the same crew that flew it from across the pond:

Could have been but if it was they would have been a larger crew, 4 pilots maybe. If it was the same crew not to sure the legality of that considering how much duty time there already was. Been a little while since working in screw scheduling and I don't remember the regs that well anymore

And the A.netters are out in force:

Hello everyone. I'm new here and like most, I'm dreaming to fly heavy widebodies internationally some day. I'm about ready make the jump to the regionals and I my short term dream is to fly the EMB-170.
Can we lose the troll yet?

Well @jhugz doesn't have a union so, when he gets a number he will get fired. But I assume you, @Out and Proud , have a union. Based on your superior skill, I would assume that you will, if it ever degrades to the point where you get a phone number, forgo the ASAP program and not rely on any union assistance when the FAA or company knock at your door. You can 709 it but the company will still fire you.

Please do, since, when you make a mistake, you are STUPID and possibly dangerous to the flying public.

I know I don't want my union dues dollars defending someone who seems ungrateful for programs like ASAP.

My guess he is busy Googling ASAP, 709 and union regs.

And I quote your post (#28) from: http://forums.jetcareers.com/threads/new-psa-ta.182688/page-2

Sounds good to me.... Guaranteed interview at a major with multiple chances if you screw up the first one, plus you get to fly large RJs till you flow to mainline. PSA just went to the top of my regional dream sheet.

Glad to see that TA worked out so well for you!

How could you not believe him? He says he logged several thousand hours in just a few months time! :sarcasm:

Probably the Atlas folks on here can't say much about it yet.

Understood... Jsut speaking in a general sense... Would a crew fly 9 hours, rest for three, then do antoher 3 hour hop....

Looks like a regularly scheduled route.
