COMPANY: Island Air is Hawai'i's leading regional carrier, offering in excess of 200 weekly flights to and from the neighboring islands of O'ahu, Maui, Moloka'i, Lāna'i, and Kaua'i using a fleet of 64-seat ATR-72 turboprop aircraft. Founded in 1980 as Princeville Airways, the company was re-named Island Air in 1992, and in February 2013, Island Air was purchased by Oracle founder Larry Ellison's company, Ohana Airline Holdings, LLC. Today the company employs more than 260 personnel.
LOCATION: FLIGHT OPERATIONS HONOLULU
REPORTS TO: VICE PRESIDENT - FLIGHT OPERATIONS
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the aircraft within company approved procedures. Assures that the flights he/she participates in are operated in compliance with Company policy and procedures and the Federal Aviation Regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3000 hours Total Fixed Wing Flight Time
- 1000 hours Multi Engine Time, Fixed Wing
- 250 hours of Pilot in Command Time
- 1000 hours as PIC or SIC in either Part 121 operations or Part 135 operations in Multi Engine airplanes
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Current valid driver's license/ability to obtain Hawaii license
- Instrument current with ability to demonstrate proficiency
- Airline Transport Rating (ATP) with Multi Engine and Instrument ratings
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Current Valid Passport
- At least 23 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States of America
- Able to pass security background check and FAA mandated drug test
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current flying job, with at least 100 hours logged in the preceding six months
- 4-year college degree
- Recommendations from Island Air pilots who can attest to applicant's flying skills
