I drink an energy drink or something highly caffinated before every flight. But that's more to get me in a playful mood to enjoy the flight than a superstition.

As a pax, nothing, I just sit down and try to sleep or get some good shots if I have a window and my camera.

Oh, another one. When heading to the NY area, pull out your low altitude chart. Chart out, ready to go = No holds from BOS center. Chart firmly ensconced in flight case = hold in 5 miles, GO!

Also I always pack a bag no matter how short the trip is. The day you dont bring it is the day the plane breaks down away from home.

I'm really not a superstitious person, but I've seen bad juju in action. It does exist

I am anti-superstitious. After dealing with management for nearly 25 years, I've decided that I need a PREPONDERANCE of evidence before I believe anything.

For example...."new airplanes for growth".

Ya, sure. I'll believe it when I'm sitting in it, and maybe not even then.
