Highest Flight Level?

Made it up to FL482 in a 31A, but as usual Denver started bringing us down way before our destination.
? for lr31apilot- What is your longest flight time in the 31A?

Sorry for the late reply.
Just so happened to be last night. 3h 1m. I have a coworker who went from Van Nuys to Chicago and "claims" 3h 24m without getting a fuel light.

Ya, Lear 20 and 30 series seats should not be used for longer than 3 hours. Lear 35's can fly for way too long.

I did 5 1/2 hours in a PC-12 a few weeks ago. Had me pining for the Bitchjet with its "resume lights" that come on around 4:15 or so. How Dough and his longhaul brethern do it, I have no idea.

I knew the 31A was a great plane but it she reassured it when I did KADS-KLAS in 3:10. 9 people, bags for 4 days, over wing fueled, and 100+kt headwind. I also met a guy that "claimed" 3:40 from Vancouver to Dallas. Either way after about 2 hours or so my 6'3" frame is ready to get out.

That's easy. My dad always said "any thing over three hours, you better have a stand up bathroom and a galley". :)

My longest leg in the last...2 years? Was a 2 hour glacier tour a few months ago. Thought I was going to die by the end of it. I've gotten used to being able to stretch my legs every 25 minutes or so.

3:40!?!? No Way! He would have landed with 150 pounds a side. That guys is nuts if its true.

Hello Guys:

The highest I've ever been is FL430 for approximately 02:30 minutes in our Sabreliner 65.

The route was KFXE-SVVA (our longest route)

Kind regards.;)

FL270 in a Herk...only because we were bored. Starts hanging on the props above 30k.

Longest flight in the Herk was 10.5hrs, with no refueling. Talk about boredom...I think I watched 3 full movies.

Man... 2 hours is a short flight for me. Most of mine push the 6 hour mark.
