Korean Air A380 arrival at ATL

What's our vector Victor?
As an employee at ATL I have been anticipating this day for a few months now. Finally, Korean Air will be incorporating their A388 into the daily ICN - ATL flight. The first flight is scheduled to land at ATL around 10:20am on September 1st and it will depart around 1:30pm to return to ICN.
 
All my friends know I am a huge boeing fan.

However, I have yet to see the 380 in person so getting a chance to go on the tarmac to see one will be pretty cool. :)
 
I was lounging by the pool in IAH today and the daily Lufthansa A388 flew over... Had a little mini eclipse for a few seconds. The 772 that followed it looked so small in comparison.
 
It's an impressive airplane the first time you see it. Then you see it for what it really is: a giant, efficient appliance for moving 400 or so people halfway around the world nonstop. Not that that's not impressive in and of itself, but beyond the sheer size of the thing, it's not really sexy like, say, a 727 or Citation X.
 
I rode in business on a Korean A380 recently from ICN-FRA. Nice ride. They have a vodka bar upstairs in back...nice touch.

Sept 1st is the date. We've been doing gate testing on Delta's 747's and Korean brought in a 747 today to test E1/E3 jetways. What sucks though is they will deplane at E Concourse and every single passenger will have to walk to F for customs. ATL always had the best foresight when building things....
