Landing Incident @ SFO

Will wait for the facts, but being a second generation Korean, knowing the Korean mentality, and having close friends that work in Korea, I am surprised this hasn't happened more often. Remember the Korean Air accidents of old? The culture back then is still alive and well today. From what I've read, g/s for 28l was ots. I bet these guys haven't flown a full blown visual approach in months. Remember, CRM in Korea is not the CRM you find here in the states. CRM in Korea is basically captain is god, you as a FO just stfu. Sad and dangerous. But like I said, remember those Korean Air accidents. I think one was caused because the FO just watched the captain fly into the side of a mountain. Something to think about.

You mean this isn't good CRM?

Ok, why do we have the NTSB again? I ask because it seems that the a.nutters have this accident all figured out now. Impressive!!!!!!!!

Think it's a wise move if Boeing/Bus makes the black boxes out of a, A-Nutter!

How do you know that?

Sounds exactly like the BA 777 at LHR to me, from what I have seen. (Fuel in tanks, not to engines )

Temps across the Pacific were MUCH warmer today than they were when the BA 777 landed short. Also, and more telling, the two planes have different engines.

Im being a total geek at the moment and keep looking at images of the crash and keep wondering where the hell that #1 engine is.

Ill bet the media is trolling this thread.

Are you seriously using Flight Aware data like it's accurate enough to draw a conclusion?

No. If you reread my posts, I made it clear that 'if true' these are the numbers.

However, someone on pprune supposedly over layed yesterday's flight aware data with today's. I'll post that as well...

Interesting graphic representation, if true.

Steve, seeing your comment and looking at your avatar thingy made ice tea come out of my nose!!! OMG, that's some funny shat!!!

Heading on down to Perdido key tonight, to soak up a few rays the never ending thunderstorms down there. Maybe I'll get a light lightning burn.

All you pilots & non-pilots out there, STAY SAFE ALWAYS!!!!!!!
