The AC690 is actually a good survey platform with the high wing. Pretty cheap to. You can hang out at 100kts all day if have a pilot that is proficient enough to fly not too awful much above Vmc(86) and well below Vyse(121). Then 290kts in cruise.

Yea we actually ran into one on the road, really nice platform. Can't say I remember the company though.

I see it all the time. It is based at Million Air KADS where we are based. A few months ago there was a transient one on the ramp and this one in the hangar that must be half the fleet.

True, this one just came off straight floats and will be going back on amphibs after a refurbish.
