Stop asking ATC the score!!

If "beat" is synonomous with "annihalated", then yes.

Don't you guys have dispatchers? Send an ACARS as a service to your passengers. Especially if they are Penguins fans.
 
Here's another thing I don't really get. Why do you need the score in real time anyway? You're not getting the play by play, so what does it matter if you're not going to watch the game if you just get it when you land?

Just to clarify, this whole thing doesn't bug me to the point of anxiety attacks and depression. But someone breaking the score (ATC or otherwise) is on my Top 10 list of most annoying things in the world.
 
Your asking a bunch of pilots who generally will sell their first kid to get a job at a regional> or major to have patience?

Why ask? Because I want to know the damn score. Simple really. No ulterior motives. And wouldn't think of asking for a basketball score since it's generally pointless to know until the game is over or has less than a minute or so (and basketball sucks but that's another discussion).
 
The last time I asked ATC for the score, he bitched me out how they can't listen to the radio or watch TV while on duty.
 
I like to broadcast in the blind on Twentyonefife for the scores. Anyone else, or is that just me?

How could you really not understand the concept of getting a live score? You have to think outside of the box and understand that not every person in the world thinks like you and has the same preferences as you. Some people just like to know the score now instead of waiting until later, regardless if they are going to watch the game later or not. I don't see anything wrong with that even if that isn't my own cup of tea. The world would be so boring if we all thought the same way and had the same interest and thoughts.
