Was a 121 revenue flight. Apparently both pilots already terminated.

I would have figured this would be all over the news if that was the case.

Pilots do get fired and more often then not for doing stupid things and also more often than not it doesn't make the news. We've certainly had cases here that could have made news but it was handled quietly in house. I'll let the PSA guys take it from here.

On a separate note, I flew this plane today. Shiny new engines and all. The incident specifics will be released in a few days apparently. Till then it's anybody's guess. Garbage bag bobsledding?

Is the CRJ not fancy enough to beep at you if you exceed ITT in the climb? Or any engine parameter for that matter?
