I got a GoPro for Christmas and finally got the opportunity to put it to good use a couple of weeks ago and decided that it was too good of a video not to share it. The "Cleared to Smile" thread pushed me to share it with you guys.
I got the opportunity to take my fiance up in the Super Decathlon and decided to show her what the Earth looked like upside down. This is her first time being upside down, rolling, looping, or spinning.
Yes, I did use part of a certain song that has been used TOO MANY times in aviation videos. However, it's actually edited to the music and is only part of the song. I didn't plan on sharing this video online, but I think it can put a smile on somebody's face. I hope you guys enjoy it!
*Disclaimer: My "aerobatics" are not up to "competition" standard. I haven't practiced them lately. We had the opportunity to go up and have fun, so we did. So save the "You could use some practice on your rolls." I know. I could use some practice on getting the landing flare shorter too.
