While in school I loved all things about airplanes way too much, I joined the flight team and became an expert on the E6B. Got pretty nerdy about it.....still am sometimes. Also created a checklist and emergency procedures for my truck at the time.....annoyed the heck out of my non aviation friends by talking airplane. Yeah, I was and still am a nerd at heart

In high school for whatever reason a friend of mine had an obsession with strange animals like llamas and emus. He started calling me emu for some reason (maybe because I have a big head on a long neck).

Substitute Emu in for Eagle on Screaming Eagle and there you have it.
