daily pic

It's obviously not the same as an airplane, but I use the gopro suction mount on my motorcycle at the track, and it handles speeds in excess of 120mph no problem. Again, not sure if I'd risk sticking it onto an airplane, but that suction cup mount is amazing.

Supposedly on planes it's the pressure changes that is an issue.

I thought shooting f2.8 was showing off? :)

I'll keep it in mind when shooting tomorrow am. ;)
I think he's referencing a technique when shooting prop driven aircraft. It's considered proper to "blur" the prop to show motion. This is done by using a slower shutter speed. I didn't realize this either until a few months ago.

Thanks. The lighting that day was all over the place with big, puffy clouds changing the conditions faster than I was able to get set up. There was also a 206, and a T28 all flying around me, and over me that day. The Trojan came out really nice also.

A few pictures from today. :)

Bumper Blimps! Could be a new action sport.

OK, maybe "action" is a little too strong a word for what's now happening in my mind.

I must have this Parade of Blimps banner - soooooo many potential applications.

Hah, it certainly could be used in other "applications." The whole blimp parade event was organized as a result of my company being acquired by Van Wagner. Anybody who has flown banner tow is probably familiar with that name. Anyways, my company is now a division of Van Wagner.
