Cancer gun.

Camera man onboard, but we have a monitor to see what is going on, or more or less to use to position the camera.

Nope, we're over in NJ, flying 40 miles or so to LGA for the tennis everyday. Could have been one of the MetLife ships or might have been the Navy out of Lakehurst.

BLM?

Took my kids camping for a couple nights, so first night we drove a couple hours back in to Magee airstrip (S77) and I was able to do a little maintenance, packing in gopher holes and splitting/stacking firewood for those who fly in to camp.. and we played around a bit in the trout stream that runs along the runway. Had a 185, V35, and Colt fly in while I was working Saturday morning. The V35 did great, vortex generators let him get slow on the approach.

Some rough video of our visitors. Sorry I wasn't paying all that much attention to the camera...

Yeah it's a neat spot, not too far back in, not very technical and departure climbs dont require bush plane performance. I'll see if I can borrow a GoPro before fall and shoot it from the air. 2+ hour drive, 15 minute flight.

A few days ago they were doing a magazine shoot for the Kodiak there, I'm not sure which magazine was doing the shots but I imagine if you see an article come out in the next few months that'll be Magee.

Another 4 day trip complete. This was only the second 4 day trip I have ever done where we were on time and no MEL's.

Took a couple pics of this at KCHD with my phone. Can anyone identify what it is?

A Pilatus of some sorts with that tail, but canopy is weird as it doesnt look like a normal PC-7/PC-9/T-6. Actually looks like an original (piston) T-6 canopy... it's like modern/retro mutt.

Pretty sure it's a Beech T-34C.

MikeD confirm?

double post for javascript error or some other weird romney/obama phenomenon.
