anyone else see on ftweb the three q's at ALB labeled as lease returns?

351, 354 and 242. one of them is a white tail from what I gather

Aren't we to the point that we can't lose any Qs or our operations are screwed? I'd imagine if we were lease returning Qs permanently it would be big news.

we are only sitting on one spare at each hub i believe. Every reserve captain in ewr has been activated this weekend or early next week from what i hear. giving up the spares isnt moving in the right direction.

Those are Saabs, not Q's. No Q's in ALB as of now

Not surprised...two of the airplanes were sold and leased back. The white tail is going back and the second one is not being deliverrd. The terms on these airplanes are probably different would be my guess.

It's 2 Qs and 1 Saab that are tagged as lease returns. 351NG, 354NG, and 242CJ.

Cd very well be lease returns if ftweb is indeed correct. You could also read into thr fact all flight dept. mgrs were in Memphis for a mandatory meeting this past week.

you have to return to original for a lease return, that means fixing things like blown seals.

Not saying I know what is going on... I agree with the asessment that the Qs would be going to Toronto, not Albany... However, could the maintenance explanation be something crew scheduling is throwing out there to minimize a panic?

The two Q's listed are next gens... ie original engines. No idea about the saab-o-matic

I think the SAAB was a planned lease return...We are loosing 7 lines of flying when you factor in thre EAS flying going away by the end of June. The Qs could, as I speculated ear
lier be the leased back ships. PNCL Air Corp. might be deliquent on lease payments...Has anyonr looked ahead to see if any of our flight hours have been reduced? I think we can look 90 days ahead on the UAL website and see if our schedules are effected. As might be suspected, we are not hearing much out of the front office...However, I expect to hearr about how are "metrics" in Houston are short of our goal...LOL
