I guess I just don't care as much what happens anymore. Maybe it's because I've been bent over so many times in the past by this company I either don't feel it anymore or I'm ready for someone to get what they deserve on the management level (although that's unlikely since you can apparently run a company into the ground and get a HUGE raise now). Mostly it's probably because I know where I stand in the pool at that other airline, and barring some catastrophic 9/11-esque occurrence or the economy completely imploding (and taking Latin America with it), I'll no longer be at Pinnacle by the end of the year.

The dude in the crew room this morning who said he heard from the CEO's second cousin's brother that we were filing today probably doesn't feel all that smart now.
These people crying they know the latest are about as crazy as the people who swear they're winning the MegaMillions tonight.
My thoughts? Pinnacle Corp bought $10 million worth of MegaMillions tickets to hopefully bail them out and put in a bid for American. If it doesn't pan out... well I guess we'll see Monday.

Serially though, it's all going to be alright. Even if BK is announced on Monday there's a lot of thing to do before plans start being made or airplanes get parked. If they wait too long we'll be making a profit again and it's going to be tough to get a judge to sign off on anything. He who calls himself Sean will get a raise though.
I ramble but I mean well. It'll all work out, just hang in there.

This is what i think is going to happen: I think that Pinnacle is going to sell the q 400's to Skywest INC. Either that or PInnacle will file and the q's will be basically taken from them. The pilots are supposed to go with the planes (I have no idea how that will pan out) Then Pinnacle is an all DCI fleet. I believe (no rumor just my thought) That Delta will purchase pinnacle so that two things can happen - one they can do whatever they want with the 50 seat fleet which will most likely be park a ton of them, or replace comairs oldest ones. Two - they probably want more 76 seat aircraft and the opportunity to combine pinnacle and comair would present itself and I am sure the delta pilots want the pilots flying those airplanes to be delta pilots. Delta also will have a big pilot shortage in the future whether anyone believes it or not. If Delta PInnacle DALPA and alpa were able to come to an agreement they could solve all of these issues with a stapler. To protect those at the top of pinnacle and comair who currently enjoy thier lives, you say that no one can lose their captain seat at pinnacle or comair for 10 years. Im not saying this is going to happen overnight and I know a lot of people are going to jump all over me for this one. But this is not a rumor, just my thoughts. Pinnacle would make the most sense to do this if they shed all the q's - if they dont shed the q's none of this will ever happen. Think about it, pinnacle is not even replacing their CFO, they created a new position that is basically an accountant. Sean M will not be here in 2 years anyway, he was brought in to destroy the company, and that sale of Mesaba to PInnacle had question marks all over it - and why not sell comair as well?
Well even if this doesn't mean the Q's are going away I guess it cancels one rumor of more United Q flying off the list, just about the only good rumor out there.
