i want to attend atp flight school to finish up from ifr to cfi. i really want to go here because of how fast you build hours . besides does't it make sense to pay atp price to get multi engine hours when you flight instruct, because airlines require a certain amount of multi engine. please just don't view and leave. leave a serious comment don't waste my time. thank you

I went there for my multi. I was very happy with the operation. If I decide to CFI in the future, I will go back.

I liked the program but hate the debt load. If I wasn't married I couldn't afford to live on first year FO pay and I got my loan at a decent interest rate. That being said the program is good.

Stay in school, kids.

You really really really should go back to the other threads you have stared and read the responses. You will be doing yourself a huge favor by doing so. There has been so much valuable advice thrown your way that you apparently are ignoring.

Start here, you should have to pay money for the knowledge being dropped in this thread - http://forums.jetcareers.com/threads/does-anyone-know-a-good-place-to-build-hours-fast.132728/page-3

I enjoyed my time at ATP, as both padawan learner and Jedi master.

However, I still have to give "rise the x-wing" lessons to pay the debt.

I've been out of ATP since 03'. I still owe $30kish and the program was approximately $20k cheaper than it is now.

Oh and the airlines are teh suk. ;)

i wanted updated opinions

Updated opinions? From who some who has never been there, done that? Most of the people posting in that thread are seasoned airline pilots, they are the exact people you should be looking for advice from.

If you are hoping someone will come out and say "Yes, ATP was great, going into $60,000 worth of debt, for a career that pays $20,000 for a few years of living in roach motels or small apartments (or with mom and dad) just so I can fly a JET!" you are not going to hear it.

What you will hear if you read, but have obviously ignored, are people who have been through exactly what you are looking to do and are giving you alternatives while telling you NOT TO DO IT that way.

Well, there's a classic example of negative networking.

The flight school you're interested in probably are wondering about the attitude and a number of pilots are wondering who the kid is that seeks help on one hand, but rejects it on the other.

There are a lot of great resources available from a lot of awesome people here, but don't shoot yourself in the foot so early.

You probably don't know this, but you need these people.

You're an idiot, and I'm saying that as sincerely as I can.

Here is an example of negative networking results:

Maybe I should call Mr. Koziarski and let him know your interested in their school, but your not "fit." There is an interview, you know.

You could then take your fresh ones across the lips, yourself.

Get a clue man..

i just like telling people if they want one across the lips. i still have respect for them. by the way a beer a day will keep the docter away

ATP and the industry for that matter, don't need "fools" like you. Go learn to type and grow out of your pacifier, them come back with some respect; because you clearly don't have any. Most guys on here are willing to help you, but not if you act like a 10 year old.
