Hiring tracking (opposite of furlough tracking)

Sad, but true. When things were looking bleak here I applied at several airlines. One, where I had many good friends and former colleagues, I was interviewed right away.

2 others, not even so much as a telephone call. :-(
 
Yeah that's true, that's how I've gotten every single job I've been at, including the one I'm at now, and I plan on using those resources for my next job as well

you'll be goin to the colgan side...allnew hires at pinnacolaba go to the saab(maybe the Q in rare situations) Last Iheard itwas 1500/100 and an ATP written...but either way I know that we have classes filled through Feb.
 
I'm a current Saab FO at Colgan. Apparently Pinnacle HR still has my app on file from when I applied last April. I tried to get some intel out of the HR lady before I explained that I was a current employee of Pinnacle Corp. She told me that they were hiring info the RJ for Pinnacle and that the base was to be determined. She told me, that in time, I would be able to transfer to the Mesaba or Colgan side of the house since they're all under one roof now. This phone conversation happened this past Saturday. I listed the times as 1200TT and 80ME because that's what was on my application when I submitted it last May. As far at the ATP written goes, when I began training back in June a member of the training department (PP) told our class that the ATP written wasn't an immediate necessity, and that we could complete it once we were finished with training. Most of my class didn't have the ATP written, and no one has come asking for my results yet.
 
I got a call from pinnacle for a interview next week, but its so soon for me giving me just a week to make change in my current schedule.I explained to her my situation and my interest for an interview and asked her for a different day for interview but she only had for next week and told me as soon as she has the next date shes going to give me a call...the question is, does shes really going to give me a call? Should I call again wondering for a upcoming interview date??

that is so wierd.....i was in the sept. class and we all had our ATP written, some had there ATP. and half the class had to get theres before class...no questions, it was a must have!

that will be interesting for current guys transfering ti the CRJ...
 
I'd like to add to this one that I'm in the pool at Republic! Looks like they're still running classes until June, then a temporary halt through summer with more classes starting in November... :)

annnnnd they actually DON'T say "American Eagle" on the side. They say "American Connection". All 13 of them...
 
Trans States Airlines is hiring. I just got an email for an interview which the HR lady said is being held on the 17th and 24th of this month for upcoming classes. I haven't touched my airline apps since last year, and I had right around 1000 and about 100 multi I think. If anyone is interested I can hook you up with her email.

Aren't they known to hire, then furlough relatively close together?
