New opening in OAK at AMF?

So someone fell asleep i take it? Not sure why mentioning the company and base was necessary... I will say I am surprised this doesn't happen more often though. Or maybe it does and most people just get away with it.

I imagine some people are really good at waking up to their callsign.

I'll bite, how would it have ended differently?
Unlike your company, most freight companies do not have working auto pilots, and if they do work they are unreliable. So, he is lucky he didnt end up a smoking hole.

Who's "dogging" him? I Hope he Is able to keep him job; the guy at my company was able to.
Youre stirring the pot for no apparent reason.

We're seriously dragging a possible career ending event onto the intrawebs? Whether right or wrong on the pilots part, this thread is pretty ridiculous.
I will admit I found the title of this thread a little surprising; I hope the best for him. That being said, fatigue-related incidents need to be brought out into the open and not swept under the rug anymore. I think a lot of this stuff goes by hush hush.

Our company has one auto pilot that kind of works in our whole fleet and it's in a 402. I fly the metro which none of them have autopilots, but since you know our fleet better then me, I'll stand by your expertise.

If you want to talk about fatigue issue that's great. Where did I say someone was dogging him? All I'm saying is someone is doing the carpet dance in front of the chief pilot's desk and he really doesn't need any publicity on a public forum. This thread could have done without the company/base and specifics.

It's a lot easier to read if you DO NOT reply INSIDE a quoted post.

Pardon me? You obviously have mistaken me for someone who gives a damn what you think. While you keep living in the illusion that all of us have so much to learn from you and your vast wealth of experience, I might suggest that you work on building your class and professionalism credentials. Goodnight.

Quote fail!

Yea, that does look pretty messed up now that I re-read it.

lol

I do apologize for miss quoting you, I misread your previous post. I do not know your fleet nor do I care to, however, if there is not an ap and the pilot falls asleep, do you really think the aircraft will stay in a straight and level state?
