Had my ass planted in the right seat of a DGA-15P from 10 years old until 21. It is "ok" (as in, really kick ass) but I would suggest to you the Howard DGA-11. Much more rare, and was the last plane designed when Benny Howard owned the company. It is similarly powered with an R-985, but is not as "fat" looking, and also has significantly better ground manners. The DGA-15P has really poopy manners on the ground - the gear geometry is all Eff'd-up. It is a really spongy, soft gear and just a wicked machine generally. The DGA-11 and preceding Howard's had a narrower gear, but much stiffer and are generally much better behaved.

Don't know the models all that well so thank you for the info. I have enjoyed the few flights I've had in them and would love to get some time flying one.

hmm....

First and foremost a DHC-2!
Something on floats (could knock out two here with the right beaver)............ That looks and sounds bad. :laff:

Lastly: Whatever pays the most, and gets the most days off.

Also: I'd like another shot at a Corben Baby Ace. I flew this one, but only once before they hung it from the ceiling in the museum for a while. Dang, that was a fun airplane.

Brewster Buffalo
Dude, yes! One time JordanD and I got to play around in WWII sims that used IL-2, and when we asked for the Buffalo the guys running it were like, "Wait, what? Why!?". Dunno if I have any chance at ever flying the beast, but we'll see. As for planes I really hope to fly someday:

Cri-Cri
Emb-120 Brasilia
Jetstream 31/32
L-39
F-5 Tiger
A-10
Pitts
727-200
737-200
Global Swift
F-4
A-4
Zeplin
Husky
Ford Tri-Motor
DC-3

I know it seems like quite a list, but if I make enough money and the stars align right, I think I can knock them all out. Except maybe the F-5 and A-10, but who knows, maybe I'll join the service down the road. It all depends.
