Dallas News aviation blog. Looks like that great starting pay at AA will be continuing on for the forseeable future, assuming they do actually make job offers next month:
American Airlines has told the Transport Workers Union that the two tentative agreements out there between the airline and the union - one for dispatchers, the other for fleet service/ground workers - are kaput.
"In light of the changed circumstances resulting from the Chapter 11 filing, American will not proceed to finalize the tentative agreements with the Fleet Service Clerks and Dispatchers," American senior vice president of human resources Jeff Brundage told the TWU in a letter Tuesday morning. American "must now prepare to seek further changes to its TWU agreements" in bankruptcy court, Brundage said in his letter to TWU international president Jim Little.
