Regionals without training contracts

So I was thinking about how to weigh the pros and cons of each carrier out there hiring (there are a ton of them). I thought an easy way to judge QOL is if they have a training contract or not. So here it goes... other than Air Wisconsin what Regionals do NOT have training contracts?

I would assume that without a training contract pilots must be staying for other reasons. It makes sense in my mind anyways :-)

I am not job hunting I just like to hear how things are progressing in the industry.

I don't think Eagle has a training contract...
I thought most regionals do NOT have training contracts, although I've been know to very wrong with my points.

Well, if you wanted to live in Norfolk, VA, then training contract or not Air Whisky might be your place.

If I were regional shopping (and quite frankly I'd love to be) pick a regional that has junior bases where you'd like to live, because most likely you'll be in the junior base on reserve. I hear reserve life living in base can be pretty sweet.

For me that would be Skywest or Horizon, but thats me.

If you want to stay in Denver (do I recall your wife is in med school?) aim really hard at Skywest and take the shortest route to DEN or SLC. In the meantime make sure I get a phone call.... ;)

Skywest does seem like a logical choice doesn't it. The pay drop does not look very good for me. It will also be hard for me to turn in my PIC time to be a SIC.

Oh, the PIC time is good for sure, and the turbine time if you can swing a metro ain't bad either, but eventually making the jump to two pilot crew behind glass is a good thing. Ask dasleben what the combination of piston ME PIC and ERJ SIC got him.

Eventually proving that you can both handle the cool toys and play well with others is a good thing.

Eagle has a 2 year contract but it's only for low timers who get additional training (ATP) but you're right, most regionals do not have contracts. I honestly don't understand why it would even matter (except for the 15 month contract at GLA if you didn't know what you got yourself into) where else would you go? Definetly not the majors before the contract is up and chasing an upgrade with a lateral move from one regional to another isn't the best idea.
