Recently bought a house very close to LOT. Nice area in the suburbs, and only 5 10 minutes to the airport. Commute to work for now is only 25-30 minutes so I'm happy there too.

Anyway, here's a view from my backyard.
(sorry for the poor quality, the whole phone camera thing...)

Sea monsters!

OMG! Me too! I wish I knew where my photo of the flight plan where I encountered sea serpents on the tracks was.

Also, I like your ADI better than Southernjet's. I just find myself searching around it to see what mode I'm in and I prefer the (yeah yeah, bless my heart) "Douglas" presentation on the -88/90.

101 and Frank Lloyd Wright pretty much. McDowell Mtn Ranch.

I used to go off road driving and shooting in the middle of nowhere at that very area back in my high school days. Back when the northern limit of north Scottsdale was Shea.

Yeah, I think this layout is very clean. I also like the speed tape, but for some reason our 767s don't have a digital readout of the speed like most do. I find myself switching back and forth between the glass and the steam depending on the phase of flight. Weird!

We don't have the speed tape and I think the ADI presentation is a mess on our fleet. I'll try and find a picture of it, but there's flight mode data strewn everywhere.

The Mad Dog's had this big strip / flight mode annunciator that was crystal clear:

Throttle Mode/Altitude Condition/Roll Mode/Pitch Mode
